GEU Retains Position Amongst The Top 100 Universities of India For Three Consecutive Years.
In 1997, Graphic Era Educational Society commenced its operations as the humble Graphic Era Institute of Technology (GEIT), which offered undergraduate programs in core engineering & allied sciences and achieved the distinction of being the first Self- financed educational institute in North India. A decade later, GEIT was accorded the status of Deemed University in 2008 and evolved into Graphic Era Deemed to be University (GEU). Today, it stands tall amongst the top 75 universities of India. The NIRF Ranking 2022 has awarded GEU All-India Rank 64 in in Engineering Category, All-India Rank 65 in Management category, and All-India Rank 74 in University category.
Released by Union Ministry of Education, the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) assesses higher educational institutes on five broad parameters: Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI) and Perception (PR). It is noteworthy that Graphic Era University has climbed up the ranking ladder every year since its induction in the top 100 list in 2020.
In fact, with NIRF Ranking 2022, GEU joined the elite club with IIT Roorkee in becoming the only two institutions from the state of Uttarakhand that have had the honor of being placed amongst the top 100 universities for three consecutive years in the NIRF Ranking framework.
This extraordinary milestone is the result of the university’s unwavering commitment to imparting high-quality education, conducting cutting-edge scientific research, and grooming the next generation of leaders.
From having its name inscribed in the Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book of World Records, to being the alma mater of five of world’s top coders or the inventors of world’s smallest ECG machine and the workplace of distinguished professors who have been granted patents for groundbreaking discoveries or after whom biological species have been named, Graphic Era University has established its eminence as an abode of learning and excellence, time and again.
The emergence of Graphic Era University as a prime hiring destination for leading companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys etc., in Uttarakhand also speaks volumes about focus given to career development of students. The success of the institute in this regard can be assessed from the fact that more than 4000 students have secured job offers in the current session with packages as high as 50.17 lacs!
